Make no mistake, the best and only long term way to lose fat is to watch your diet and exercise regularly. But these simple hacks will accelerate the rate of fatloss in any regime.

  1. Drink 5 cups of green tea a day
    Green tea aids fat loss in multiple ways. It has a thermic effect and thus burns extra calories with no effort. It helps the body detox which indirectly helps fatloss. It also reduces hunger and supplies the body with anti- oxidants, which prevents aging and improves metabolism. Do no add milk or sugar.

  2. Eat the largest meal of the day immediately after your workout
    Your metabolism and testosterone levels are elevated after a workout. It is extremely difficult for fat to form during this time, thus making it the ideal time to eat big meals. Also eating well after workouts increases your recovery rate which helps improve your metabolism long term as well.
  3. Drink 5-7 liters of water a day
    Typically when people increase their water intake, their hunger dramatically reduces. This is because people unaccustomed to true starvation (which is most of us) cannot properly differentiate between hunger and thirst. The truth is much of our hunger is actually thirst. In addition increased water intake increases the metabolic rate.
  4. Consume 10-20g of pure protein before every meal
    The easiest way to do this is to eat 2-5 egg whites or consume a small protein shake. Please use a quality protein. Protein suppresses hunger and lowers insulin levels, which prevents fat gain. Having it before your meals ensures that you will be less hungry during your meal and thus will consume less calories.
  5. Avoid Sitting for more than 10mins at a time
    Prolonged sitting reduces metabolism and slows fatloss. Just getting up and walking ten steps is more than enough to avoid this.
  6. Eat a fresh vegetable before every meal and when you get cravings
    Fresh vegetables like cucumbers and carrots suppress insulin and hunger. Eating one vegetable every time you get hungry is an excellent way to both avoid snacking and improve elimination.

  7. Sleep 8 hours a day
    Sleep allows the metabolism to rise and kills hunger. It also creates an ideal environment for fatloss. It is extremely difficult for the body to burn fat when sleep deprived.
  8. Consume Vit E and Zinc 
    They increase testosterone levels creating an ideal environment for fatloss.
  9. Consume 2-3g of Fish oil a day
    The human system is designed to consume large amounts of Omega 3 fats. A deficiency here could seriously limit fat loss due to its adverse hormonal effects.
  10. Perform Cardio after workouts not before
    It takes the body 11-12 mins to start burning fat in any form of slow cardio. Performing your cardio after your workouts eliminates this because your body is already warmed up and in the fat burning zone. This way your time doing cardio will be more effective.
